The bud is a fundamental part of the rice grain.
It represents its vital part and contains vitamins and nutritional elements that are good for human health.
GliAironi rice is the only one on the market that maintains the Gemma right from its first stages of processing.
This is why we decided to bleach the rice grain as little as possible, using a gentle process that leaves the grains coarser and preserves the proteins, vitamins, mineral salts, and enzymes present in the outer layer of the grain and especially in the bud.
A bud that can be seen, touched, and felt in all its fresh elasticity, thanks to cells ready to generate a new rice plant. And in the kitchen, too, the bud makes a difference.
The cooking resistance of gliAironi rice – essential for professional cooking – is due to the presence of the tougher, protein- and lipid-rich outer layers of the grain and not to a hardening of the entire caryopsis, which can occur with aging.
Maintaining elasticity, on the other hand, allows for maximum absorption during cooking.


This is why our rice is recognized for its personality on the plate, both for its consistency and for its taste.
If you try gliAironi rice simply boiled, you will see the Gemma swell and you will smell its aromas.
