If our company is called gliAironi , it is because when we founded it we wanted to pay homage to the Grey Herons , a species on the verge of extinction, which returned to populate the rice fields in the area only a few years ago, when a new generational conscience stopped focusing on intensive rice cultivation.
The environment is what makes our rice so excellent, it is what surrounds us, it is the greatest asset we have.
That's why it's at the top of our list of interests.
To protect it, we've decided to take extra care: you can find instructions for the correct disposal of all our product packaging through separate waste collection online, in the description of each product.
Respecting the environment is everyone's duty: we want to do our part.
Our Initiatives
🌱 Our packaging design is intended to enable each container to find a new use. This is why we are committed to using glass, a 100% recyclable material.
☀️ Since 2018, we have installed a photovoltaic system to help meet the company's production energy needs. From 2025, the entire gliAironi production will be powered by renewable solar energy.
These are just some of the initiatives we proudly undertake in respect of the nature from which we come and which we cultivate. gliAironi has always been committed to the environment and sustainable development, for a future that is accessible to future generations.
