Food Quality and Safety Policy

RISI&Co. SRL is constantly committed to operating responsibly to distribute safe products that comply with current regulations and the high quality standards we have set for ourselves.

Meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers and consumers is a fundamental objective for us. For this reason, we dedicate every effort to safe food production, in full compliance with mandatory regulatory requirements and the voluntary standards we have signed.

In particular, as part of its Quality and Food Safety Policy, RISI&Co. SRL is committed to ensuring sustainable development through the following points:

  • identification, development, and supply of safe, authentic, and quality products that meet the needs of consumers and customers, and anticipating customer needs before they arise, while respecting the environment and legal requirements;
  • ensuring consistent quality standards of finished products over time through adequate selection of raw materials and quality controls during and after production;
  • internal listening and communication are promoted using all tools that facilitate the exchange of information between ownership and staff, implementing and enhancing the food safety culture among its operators, so that they understand the importance of their commitment to providing healthy, safe, and suitable food;
  • external listening and communication with customers, consumers, suppliers, public and private control bodies, through social networks, with the aim of ensuring transparency, correct information, and timely responses to external requests;
  • investments in new hardware and software technology to ensure proper control of the production process, upstream and downstream traceability of raw materials and finished products, and the availability of process measurement data to ensure continuous improvement of the entire FSMS;
  • continuous investments in R&D of new products and processes;
  • reduction of the environmental impact of products and processes;
  • voluntary certification of processes and products, with particular attention to the hygienic-sanitary safety of food products;
  • improvement of working conditions, attention to the needs of personnel and their need for continuous updating and professional development, in accordance with the requirements of the FSMS;
  • ensuring that the root causes of non-conformities are adequately addressed to prevent their recurrence;
  • surplus food due to unsold/customer returns/overproduction, suitable for consumption while respecting food safety and thus reducing food waste (EU Reg. 2021/382 of 03.03.2021 amending the annexes of EC Reg. no. 852/2004 and subsequent amendments), distributed through non-profit organizations (Onlus) or placed in the company store (at reduced prices).
